It’s no secret that it has been a challenging two years, and when it comes to home renovations and materials costs and delays, that’s no exception. In fact, 90% of home builders in 2021 reported material shortages and delays which in turn led to skyrocketing costs. We know how frustrating this process can be, especially when you’re in the middle of a renovation, but we want to assure everyone that we’re not sitting still. Here are some of the things we are doing for our customers to help ease these concerns:
Be Proactive
Its crucial to stay ahead of the curve and be as prepared as possible. This is why we schedule “kick-off” meetings with all our clients with the goal of better understanding their wants and needs. This allows our team to hit the ground running in terms of placing orders for materials as soon as possible to lock in lower prices. And to be proactive so that even if there is a delay it doesn’t severely impact the timeline we put in place. While we can’t predict the future, we do everything possible to help our customers.
We’re In This Together
We understand that our team is our biggest asset and that’s why we’ve brought in more best-in-class people to help us build your dream home. We recently added a Project Coordinator who will be tasked with monitoring trends in the market in an effort to secure the lowest possible costs for our clients. Plus, attempt to find out about any possible delays before they happen so that we can adjust our plans accordingly. While there’s no exact science to predicting or avoiding these delays and price increases, we will never leave a client to figure these things out on their own. We also assign a Project Manager to every job who will walk you through the whole process and keep you in the loop if any unexpected issues come up.
We are committed to working around the clock for our clients to make sure our projects stay on schedule so that they can see their dream homes come to life.
